High Key Photography

I gave high key photography a try. High key photography simply means over expose your photo but not excessively. It normally preserve the dark colour, or more technically the shadow part but overblown the bright colour, or in another word, the highlight. It normally brings out the 'happy' mood of a photo.


This is the normal portrait photo that is abundant all over the internet.


The skin tone is still there but with a little bit over exposed, the subject stands out more.


The details of the hair and eyes are still there.


A coloured high key photo.


Sepia mode.


This is a lil bit over-exposed though.


I like the light falls from the top to show the hair light.

What I meant was that type of normal portrait photo is abundant all over the internet but not agnez's photo. lol

Hmmmppphhh, nice concept, worth to try, but I need to cover up my pimples first.
